Disclaimer

I started Credencare because I’ve seen, up close, how confusing and stressful it can be for someone to navigate healthcare, whether you’re a patient trying to find the right hospital in a country you’ve never visited, or a hospital administrator trying to make sense of NABH accreditation requirements. This page is here to be upfront with you about what Credencare is, what it isn’t, and how to use the information on this website responsibly.

We are facilitators, not doctors

Nothing on this website, including blog posts, hospital information, cost estimates, or treatment descriptions, is medical advice. I’m not a doctor, and neither is anyone on the Credencare team acting in that capacity here. Any decision about your diagnosis, treatment plan, surgery, or medication should be made directly with a qualified, licensed physician. We can help you find and connect with the right specialists in India, but the actual medical judgment is always between you and your treating doctor.

About our hospital partnerships

We work with hospitals that are NABH-accredited or actively pursuing NABH accreditation, and we do our best to keep the information about these partners current and accurate. That said, hospital credentials, doctor availability, equipment, and departments can change over time,  sometimes faster than a website can be updated. Before making any travel or treatment decisions, please confirm details directly with the hospital and, where possible, with us as well.

On costs and outcomes

Every cost estimate we share is given in good faith and based on the information available to us at that time. However, final pricing depends on your specific diagnosis, the treatment plan your doctor recommends, the length of your stay, and decisions made by the hospital itself. We are not the billing authority, the hospital is. Similarly, while we’ll connect you with experienced surgeons and well-regarded facilities, no one can promise a specific medical outcome. Surgery and treatment carry inherent risks, and those risks are explained to you by your medical team, not by us.

For hospitals seeking NABH accreditation

Our role in NABH consulting is advisory and hands-on, we help with gap assessments, documentation, training, and preparation. The final decision on whether a hospital receives or retains NABH accreditation rests entirely with the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers. We don’t control, influence, or guarantee that outcome. What we do is bring our experience to help your team be as prepared as possible.

Blog and resource content

The articles you’ll find on our blog are written to genuinely help, whether that’s explaining what NABH accreditation means for a patient, or what someone from Bangladesh should expect when seeking treatment in India. These are based on our real experience working in this space, but healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, visa rules, and travel requirements can and do change. Always check with the relevant official source, the hospital, the embassy, or the accrediting body, before making final decisions.

Links to other websites

From time to time we may link to hospital websites, government portals, or other external resources for your convenience. We don’t control these sites and aren’t responsible for their content or accuracy.

A personal note

I built Credencare around the idea of being someone you can actually trust through a process that’s often opaque and intimidating, whether that’s a patient family making one of the biggest decisions of their lives, or a hospital team trying to raise their standard of care. This disclaimer isn’t meant to create distance between us; it’s meant to be honest about where our role begins and ends, so that when you do reach out, you know exactly what kind of partner you’re getting.

If anything on this page is unclear, or you’d just like to talk through your situation before making any decisions, reach out to us directly at info@credencare.com or call +91 76880 20957. I’d genuinely rather have that conversation than leave you guessing.

Privacy Policy

Trust matters more in healthcare than almost anywhere else, and I know that. When someone reaches out to Credencare, they’re often sharing personal, sometimes deeply personal information about their health, their family, and their plans. This page explains, in plain language, what we do with that information and how we look after it.

What information we collect

When you fill out our enquiry form, contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp, or use our website’s tools (like the doctor directory or cost comparison features), we may collect details such as your name, contact number, email address, country of residence, the medical condition or treatment you’re interested in, and any documents or reports you choose to share with us, such as previous medical records or test results.

We may also collect some basic technical information automatically, things like your browser type, approximate location, and how you found our website through standard website analytics tools. This helps us understand which pages are useful and where we can improve.

Why we collect it

Simply put, we collect this information so we can do the job you’ve come to us for. If you’re a patient or a family member, we use your details to understand your medical needs, match you with the right hospital and specialist, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate your visit – including travel, accommodation, and follow-up care where applicable. If you’re a hospital reaching out about NABH accreditation consulting, we use your information to understand your facility’s current status and plan our consultancy work with you.

We don’t collect information “just in case.” If a piece of information isn’t useful for helping you, we generally don’t ask for it.

Who we share it with

This is probably the part that matters most, so I want to be direct about it. To coordinate your treatment, we may need to share relevant medical details with the hospital, specialist, or care team you’re being connected with this is necessary for them to prepare for your case. We choose our hospital partners carefully, and they’re expected to handle your information with the same care we do.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We don’t share your details with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. The only sharing that happens is what’s genuinely needed to help you get the care or consultancy you came to us for – for example, a hospital you’re being referred to, or occasionally, a travel or visa-assistance partner if you’ve asked us to help with that part of your journey.

How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including limiting who on our team has access to sensitive enquiries and using secure channels for communication wherever possible. That said, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and I think it’s only honest to say that rather than promise something no one can fully promise.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as it’s reasonably needed, generally for the duration of your treatment journey or consultancy project, plus a reasonable period afterward in case follow-up care, billing questions, or accreditation renewals come up. If you’d like us to delete your information sooner, you’re welcome to ask, and we’ll do so unless we’re required to retain certain records by law (for example, medical or financial record-keeping requirements in India).

Cookies and our website

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies -mainly to help the site run properly, remember your language preference (we support multiple languages so patients from different countries can use the site comfortably), and give us a general sense of how visitors use the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. If you’ve contacted us but decided not to move forward, just let us know and we’ll remove your details from our active records.

Children’s information

Our services are intended for adults making healthcare decisions for themselves or on behalf of family members. We don’t knowingly collect information directly from children, though we understand that medical enquiries sometimes involve information about a child as a patient – in those cases, the information is provided and managed by the parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

As Credencare grows, we may need to update this policy from time to time – for example, as we add new features to our multilingual platform. If we make significant changes, we’ll update the date below and, where appropriate, let you know.

Questions?

If anything here is unclear, or you’d like to know more about how your information is handled, just reach out — info@credencare.com or +91 76880 20957. I’d rather have a real conversation about it than leave you reading fine print.
